Men of Honor is a national recognition event celebrating the strength, leadership, and remarkable contributions of men in the nursing profession. This program highlights those who are breaking barriers, inspiring change, and shaping the future of healthcare.

Together, we honor the men whose dedication and compassion are uplifting patients, communities, and the nursing profession nationwide. In 2027, the program moves to Chicago — the healthcare and association capital of the Midwest.

Nominations

Who May Submit a Nomination

Men of Honor welcomes nominations from across the nursing and healthcare community. Peer recognition, organizational endorsement, and leadership nominations carry significant weight. All submissions are reviewed under the same standards.

Colleagues & Peers
Fellow nurses who have witnessed the nominee's dedication, clinical excellence, or leadership are encouraged to nominate.
Nurse Leaders & Executives
CNOs, directors, charge nurses, and managers may nominate exceptional men on their teams or in the broader community.
Hospitals & Organizations
Health systems, clinics, and healthcare organizations may nominate deserving staff, partners, or affiliates.
Academic Institutions
Nursing schools and faculty may nominate students, faculty, or alumni who exemplify excellence in nursing.
Community & Family
Community organizations, patients, and families may nominate men whose impact reaches beyond the clinical setting.
Self-Nominations
Self-nominations are accepted and reviewed under the same standards. Nominating yourself is an act of professional confidence, not a disadvantage.
