About the Initiative
Despite being a minority in the profession, male nurses continue to make significant strides in leadership, advocacy, clinical excellence, and patient-centered care. The Men of Honor initiative seeks to highlight these trailblazers and showcase the transformative impact they bring to healthcare.
Statement
“Male nurses are innovators, educators, and leaders who continue to elevate our profession,” said Dr. Donel J. Richemond, President of The Nurses Magazine (who is also a male nurse). “Their dedication deserves national recognition, and Men of Honor is our commitment to amplifying their stories.”
